Born and raised in Louisiana and Georgia, I am a southern woman.

Narratives around southern culture are a pervasive and common element in my art due to my love of books: mysteries, science fiction, and fantasy.

As a child, and admittedly as an adult, I get lost for days sometimes forgetting to eat and sleep being so emersed in a good story.

Drawing on this, I see myself as a visual storyteller. I endeavor to be sparse yet rich in imagery as I tell my own personal story and those of the others.
